| The Q-8 Alumni Association annually recognizes the Active Members of Company Q-8 Pershing Rifles with awards in recognition of Leadership, Brotherhood and Devotion to Duty. These awards are presented in memory of a deceased brother who espoused these virtues. A fourth award was created in March of 2004 which is bestowed upon an Alumni of Q-8.
