
Honorary Q-8 Pershing Riflemen
Over the course of Q-8's storied history, the brothers of Q-8 have bestowed "Honorary" status on those people who have contributed their time, talents and or resources in support of the Company. Here is a list of those whom 'Q' has honored with Honorary Status.
If we are missing anyone, please let us know. It is our intent on updating
this list whenever an honorary brother is found or named.

LTC Abb has been a supporter of both the active
company and the Q-8 Alumni Associaiton since the
day he arrived at Hofstra.
Ed Aulman

Ed was instrumental in assisting the association in
the planning and execution of the 2006 Q-8 Invitational Drill Competition
and has been a big supporter of our organization ever since.
William J. Day

Bill distinguished himself as one of the greatest 8th Reg CO's of all time.
A true friend of Q-8's he helped to put the 8th Reg back on the map
and was instrumental in helping form the 8th Reg. Alumni Association
and the FRPAA.
David A. Poe
2LT, Former P/R National Commander (2006-2007)

David was a successful National Commander of P/Rs who saw
the need for alumni support and bought into the Q-8 model.
David became a close confident of the Q-8AA hierarchy, he was also
a founding member of both the 8th Reg Alumni Association and FRPAA.
Chris Scheuerman
P/R LTG, National Commander (2007-2008)

Chris became a true friend to Q-8 and led the Pershing Rifles
in increasing the amount of brothers and units into the society.
Chris agreed to be part of the fledgling FRPAA.
Gwendolyn Wade

Gwen has been a champion of Q-8's within the Hofstra community
and has served Q-8 faithfully assisting the organization
in many ways, her efforts will always be appreciated.

LTC Boden has been a positive supporter of both the active
company and the Q-8 Alumni Associaiton since the
day he arrived at Hofstra.
Andrea Walsh
P/R MG, National Commander (2010-2011)

Andrea has been a staunch supporter of Q-8 since she was the Deputy
8th Regimental Commander and has remained so during her entire P/R career
which includes posts as 8th Regimental Commander, Deputy National Commander
and as of now, P/R National Commander. She also supports the efforts
of the Federation of Pershing Rifles Alumni Associations and alumni in
general.
Robert Poggioli
Civil Air Patrol Officer (CAP), U.S. Air Force Veteran

CAP Major Bob Poggioli has served in uniform since the
1960s and believes in the cadet program within CAP and ROTC. Bob
has supported the efforts of Company Q-8 and the alumni association
and can always be seen at the annual Q-8 Company Dinner.
Jason Kaatz
President, New York State Chapter - Jewish American War Veterans Association

Jason is the president of the New York chapter of the Jewish American
War Veterans Association of America and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
For the past several years Jason has attended the annual Q-8 Company
Dinner and presented one active brother with his associations medal for
Patriotism and Americanism. He is a friend to the actives as well as the
alumni and we appreciate all he has done on our behalf.
Rebecca E. Scholand
P/R MG, Deputy National Commander (2010-2011)

Rebecca, a Long Island native, has been an active P/R at Embry
Riddle University in Florida for the past several years, the last two
having served on the national staff first as Chief of Staff and now
as the deputy national commander. She has been a positive influence in
alumni affairs and has backed the efforts of the FPRAA and Q-8 Alumni
Association.
